This is my cousin Don on his brand new Golden Flash.
Lynwood, California, about 1953. He told me that the bike ended up being turned into a "desert sled" under the sponsorship of the local BSA dealer. He raced it at Catalina one year, but mostly raced in events in the Mojave.
